Inspired by Fil’s reaction to Ren - Bittersweet Symphony
At the crack in the way ahead, (laying in bed),
the arrow light excites my head,
blossoming thoughts are transferred to legs,
so the days agenda is gonna be fed,
(yet first, a face refresh),
That splash of water heard,
oh such a well coming stir,
vigour applied
and the light catches the flakes that fly,
ready now for fifteen minute meditation,
the symphony for today is in preparation,
stop all thoughts of situation/preparation,
revelation, imagination, motivation
and especially destination.
In the now,
not then
or when,
just now,
The sights and sounds in silence seen & heard - Magpies cackle as the Red Kite circling raises their shackles,
the grey/blue with white inches around - the black and white cat yawns with no sound,
the waters boiled, which is all I know, my yawn breathes in the dust that never settles down to grow,
coffee’s made in the glass once cold (now hot enough to scold) sits quietly as rising steam unfolds,
the coffee brewing as my gut feeling is not reacting to my viewing, all is now, nothing but coffee stewing,
Looking now out into the estate an occasional car door closes that traps the steamed heads I know with baggage from yesterday and even last month in tow,
the narrow tall cup reaches the lower lip (that’s ready to sip), coffee waterfall, body responds into warm glow as my gut instinct reveals what I needed to know,
Katy with the excited kids looking forward to Halloween costumes making and pretend scaring, they make, don’t buy as Katy’s budgets is tight and low.
Gary with mental health issues moves like a fly his focus changing in the blink of an eye, Hello mate, (the paranoid thoughts amass) as he dances his show,
Kim, with bulldog leading her, raises her voice which the dog ignores sniffing out others who have strayed across while he wasn’t there - possible foes,
Terry, ex military, marches from door to car, there are procedures to follow for his comfort zone, stealthy yet in the open he’s alert as he needs to know what’s above and below.
Coffee time moves on I’m steady for notifications and email alerts,
Fil’s reacted to Dimash and Anycubic want me to buy,
Wendy, (with the biggest smile and caring nature) a nurse calls let’s book your annual blood test, she stills mentions my not being shy,
she needed a hug as her cancer grabbed hold, for more then ten minutes she cried gripping tighter as she broke open, not once to deny.
Now time to crack open the day,
what’s to come, I’ll never know,
I’ll see....
